Registered Charity # 1111563

Henry's Friends is a charitable organisation, established soon after the school opened in 2004.

Our objectives are to raise funds in support of the education
of the children of Henry Chichele Primary School.
We do this by arranging events which are open to the public.

Henry's Friends are grateful for your support with the extra things we do in our school!

Our AGM will be held on Wednesday 11th October 2017 at 7.30pm, venue to be confirmed.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Please speak to a member of the Committee if you would like further information on joining Henry's Friends.

We encourage all parents to label everything! We are able to offer parents a link to Stikins Name Labels which will also earn Henry's Friends some commission. Please follow the link to Stikins.

Henry’s Friends is a collaboration between parents and staff whose sole aim is to raise money to purchase items that government funding doesn’t cover. The success of HF depends entirely on the support of all parents, staff and the community.

Some examples of items we have bought for the school community in the past include benches for the playground (2016), commemorative coins for HM Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday (2016), key rings to commemorate the school's 10th anniversary (2015), new library furniture (2014) and new laptops (2013).

We also support the school by funding other expenses such minibus insurance, this allows the school to retain the minibuses and offer excursions and swimming lessons at a reduced price.

How can you help?

We greatly appreciate any assistance and there are many different ways for parents to get involved in HF. We have meetings once a term at the school to discuss and plan events, these are open to all parents. We are always looking for parents who can volunteer time and enthusiasm at any (or all!) of our events; without this invaluable assistance some events cannot take place. Look out for us in the playground!

Share your fundraising ideas with us, we are always looking for new ideas, this could be adding to an existing event or suggesting a new one.

A final way you can help is by looking at how/if your company can help us. Many companies will help schools/charities by donating raffle prizes, some also operate a scheme called ‘Match Funding’ or £4£. This is a scheme whereby your workplace will match money raised at a specified event and donate that to the school. This can happen due to the fact that HF is a registered charity, for more information please contact the school or a member of HF.
