Following agreement from the Governing Body we are pleased to announce both a change of supplier for September 2017 and new uniform garments as follows:-

After careful consideration and growing concerns over both quality and supply issues, we are pleased to announce that our new supplier will be Karlsports. Parents are welcome to order online at Karlsport Ltd, or complete and return the order form with your remittance, either direct to Karlsports, or to the school office. Completed orders will be available for collection from the school office free of charge, or you may opt to have delivered to your home address, for an additional charge (see web-site for details).

Karlsport have a new purpose built unit at Unit 7 Trafalgar Road, Kettering NN16 8DB where parents may also purchase or exchange garments.

To clarify:-

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children will continue to wear polo-shirt and an embroidered crew neck sweatshirt (or sweat cardigan)

Year 3, 4 ,5 and 6 will wear a white shirt (long or short sleeved), a tie, and an embroidered V neck sweatshirt or sweat cardigan.

From September 2019 we shall be PE Ready for Reception to Year 4. This means that children in these year groups will come to school in their PE kits.

As this is part of their uniform, the clothes worn must adhere to the uniform listed below.  i.e. no logos apart from the school one will be allowed.

  • The PE uniform consists of:
        • Plain burgundy T-shirt with school logo
        • Plain black sports shorts
        • Black or WhiteTrainers (no mark soles)
        • School hoodie
        • Plain black jogging bottoms

Wearing PE kit to school will ensure that children get the maximum benefit out of their PE sessions as they will spend more time actually physically active, rather than wasting 10 minutes (longer in Reception) at the start and end of each session getting changed.

It will also help to reduce the number of items lost by children from their kits as they will be coming in and going home wearing their PE uniform. Hopefully this will also keep the kit cleaner and tidier and the children will get fair wear from the garments.

Year 5 and 6 have purpose built classroom storage and access to a changing room. Kit should be kept in school for the term as PE lessons are more flexible.

Parents are encouraged to label everything! Henry's Friends can earn commission through Stikins

Thank you for your continued commitment.
